You mentions some problems with the online help files. This is true.
There's something wrong with the way they are built and cross file links
are not working correctly. My interim fix is to define:

SET
WATINF=cmix.inf+c_readme.inf+cguide.inf+clib.inf+clr.inf+cpplib.inf+ide.inf+lguide.inf+pguide.inf+rescomp.inf+tools.inf+wbrw.inf+wd.inf+wprof.inf+wccerrs.inf+wpperrs.inf
SET WATHLP=ide.hlp+wd.hlp+wbrw.hlp+wpperrs.hlp+wprof.hlp+wccerrs.hlp

Then I can:

view watinf

from the command line and have everything available in one view instance.
Searching is easier.
