I use Back Again 2000. I swear by it. It's easy, fast, highly  
configurable and it can be scheduled just as you like it. In short, it's  
highly automated.  
 
I bet that it would greatly speed up Peter's 3.5 of copying, using  
XCOPY, even with Peter's older IDE drives.
