This may be a dumb response, and unresponsive to your issues, but if the
Mozilla download is unzipped to a FAT partition rather than an HPFS
partition, or if you use an older unzip program, the long file names get
truncated to 8 characters, causing problems when those files are called.

Yep, I made that mistake... I am the dummy!

I have also seen some of the strange mouse problems: movements of the mou=
se
scrolling the page after clicking on (and using) the scroll bar, and
erratic jumps of the cursor now and then. Bothersome, but not a serious
issue. Just left-click the mouse to stop the scrolling.
