You qualify as long as you have a licensed copy of Warp. If you look in

That's not the problem. Serentity OEM's OS/2 from IBM. IBM sets the
prices that SSI must pay them for an upgrade license or a full license.
Apparently, IBM is charging SSI almost full price for a new Warp license.
The fee IBM charges SSI for an upgrade license, which is essentially an
MCP license is much less.
FWIW, last time I looked the cost of an upgrade license for eCS was less
that the cost of the single-user upgrade license for Smartsuite, which is
one of the bundled applications. This make eCS a very good buy for
Smartsuite users, as long as you adhear to the license provisions.
Go figure. Product pricing is a strange world. In the long term, you
have to charge enough to make a profit. In the short term, there are a
lot of other factors to be considered.
