Subject: SCOUG-Help: Using this email group

Content Type: text/plain

=====================================================
If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.
=====================================================

I seem to be having difficulty posting/replying to this email group. Some=

of my post replies are
partially truncated at the top (ie, first 10 or 12 lines are missing when=

it gets posted), and =

some of my posts don't seem to get there at all. I do occasionally see a
blank post shortly after
I've posted a (missing) reply, so I'm thinking that the entire content of=

my post may have been deleted.

I figure this email goes thru an automated function that receives my emai=
l
and sends it to subscribers
so I'm wondering if there's a secret I'm not privvy to that says the emai=
l
text needs to have a certain
character string at the top, or if there are prohibited characters that
flummox the process, or what???. =

I use Compuserve CIM 2.0.3 with dialup to post, and my saved copies of my=

posts look fine.
I do have another way to send email which I don't normally use, so I am
going to try to resend =

my last couple of posts that way.

Wayne (bootup "blue screen hang")
