I have five LaserJet II's so I'm older than you are Ahahahahaha! :))))

The toner refills on the II's are bigtime cheap. $33.

Jack, if you want to print to these things _simultaneously_ put them on
a network print server. If you use one or both of them only
occasionally, get a cheap mechanical switch ($15). Other
considerations: One guy on this list has had trouble getting a
mechanical printer switch to work, and another guy on this list found a
place to buy network print servers for $25 (you need one for each
printer, you also need a network hub if you don't have one).

If you only print to one of them "very occasionally", just get up, walk
over to the printers, and move the printer cable from one to the other.
This is called an "ambulatory mechanical switch" and is ergonomically
good for your cardiovascular system. Inexpensive, too -- you don't even
need an extra printer cable.

You may also want to buy a $10 "power center" switch box so you can turn
the printers on and off without having to partake of the aforesaid
ergonomics. I use two; one for stuff on the UPS and one for stuff on
wall power (through a surge protector but no UPS).
