Last night I was able to get thru FDISK and install system. However, I had
some failure messages which prevented bootup.
My ethernet card (Intel Pro/100+) doesn't seem to be supported, so I am
thinking I must find a driver for it. Also, my SoundBlaster Live card isn't
on the supported card list and a driver for that too must be found.
Additionally, my Voodoo 3500 video card wasn't listed as a supported item
during installation. It seems my system isn't too os/2 friendly. It is
linux and BeOS friendly, however.
At any rate the message I received at booting is this:

"Locked File device Driver is loaded
Processing locked files
Processing complete
Failure EtherExpress 16 hardware not found
Failure NDIS environment invalid
Sys 1201--Device Driver c:\ibmcom\macs\exp160S2 specified in device on line
21 of config.sys file not installed
line 21 ignored"

Got same message second time I tried to reboot, but last lines were
lines 18 of config.sys file not installed and line 18 ignored.

I did not see my video card during the install procedure, so I just choose
something close. Same with ethernet card. Also, my printer,
Epson Stylus color 740 (usb) wasn't listed as supported.

What is the best way to go? Find drivers at Hobbes, purchase fixpack/driver
updates or look at ibm site for drivers for my hardware?

Thanks again for your help

Butch Langel
