Seems like I tried that once without a change, but I'm not certain... I'll
try that next time, though I suspect it won't have an effect, since PMSHELL
is probably needed to bring up the desktop, isn't it?

I changed it earlier today, but haven't rebooted yet, probably won't until
tomorrow, and it might take a while before i get a hang again anyway.
