I've had success hacking programs like more.com to run under   
different DOS versions.  It's an easy hack. A call to DOS services,   
Int 21?, with a particular value in AL/AH and then a return with   
the major version/minor version in hex and reverse byte order.   
I'm NOT a programmer, but even I could handle THAT assembly   
language hack with debug!  The code is often near the end   
of the file.   
 
But I dunno what to expect from OS/2 as a return?   
Anybody?    
 
But who cares anyway.  Patch it to accept anything!
