On higher capacity disks these days, there hasn't been much need but on some of
the smaller capacity ones on kids machines, it could help. How does one clear
the space used by the archives from the application of FixPaks? I remember that
one must commit (assuming one is satisfied) to the applied FixPak, right? Since
I am satisfied, how does one perform the steps needed to commit? I used OS2SERV
to apply the FixPak but I don't see a commit option.
Also, some of the other fixes (device driver Fix Pak, IIRC) were backed up to a
selected directory. Is this safely deleted, again assuming one is satisfied or
is there a commit process here, too? Thanks.
