I'm still back in the Pleistocene, at FP-9. Can't say whether or not that's significant.

Always a possibility, and I'm no expert on Config.Sys. Most of what I know about the Config file is from the
school of hard knocks.

This may be a bit of a stretch, but you can't rule out hardware idiosyncracies. For example, my Plexwriter
8/20 does NOT support the packet writing function (direct to CD, with spanning) in Drive Image 4.0, even after
I upgraded the drive's firmware. RSJ maintains a list of compatible hardware on their site somewhere, and I
gather it is not all yay or nay: some models are more compatible than others.

Just f.y.i., the person I have dealt with at RSJ is Ramona Huebner. (Not sure if she's actually in Tech.
Support.) She has been helpful to me, but, over support for various programs, I have found the Germans to be
perhaps overly terse in their replies. I usually wind up wanting more info than is given. Also f.y.i, I
believe they maintain their own private newsgroup. My recollection is that only about half of the message
traffic is in English.

Good Luck.

Jordan
