I'm probably a few hours away from doing precisely that. (As usual, Warp has been up for quite some time without a
reboot, and I'd like to finish a few things before I do so.) Will let you know what I find. However, I can only check
this out on the _current_ mb, which happens to be an Asus P2B-F. One might expect the P3B-F to follow suit, it being a
direct successor, but then again maybe not. I was able to consult some product literature for the P3C-E, which I think
is fairly contemporaneous with the P3B series, and (in sharp contrast) it makes explicit reference to having a
"Smart-BIOS", which can "boot from HD/SCSI/MO/ZIP/CD-ROM." No idea if that was a then newly introduced feature.
