Let me make sure we are on the same page.
I am looking at CD-Writer Control. There is a "button" that says "Attach
now."
The only parameters I see are for hard disk cache and for ram cache.
If lockcdr.flt is enabled, there is no problem.
If lockcdr.flt is remmed out, I get the error message described above.
Does that answer the question, or are you referring to something else?
