Hi Peter
thanks for your reply !

My version of CFGtool.exe seems to be the same as yours, exept a
typo in time: =

yours 1:25a to mine 10.25.
=

2002/02/18 10:25:02 320000 E:\OS2\Config\Tool\110\CFGtool.EXE

I never had problems ;-)

My suggestion:
You already have contacted Goran (developer) but you should
contact Klaus Staedtler instead =

and send him your CONFIG.SYS causing this "Fatal Error". He may
be able to assist you ;-))
You find his address in ConfigTool's (INFO) !

Very interesting for me is this:

> I learned some things about HPFS.IFS by reading that file,
including one
> notation that said IFS=3D...HPFS.IFS is supposed to be *after*
> IFS=3D...CDFS.IFS (in my CONFIG.SYS it isn't). Well, actually it
says
> "Make sure the HPFS.IFS will be loaded after the CDFS.IFS
because you
> need CDFS.IFS to access the CD".
> Perhaps line order and load order are not the same?

The last line is important !
Now I have difficulty to translate my Swiss German into
"understandable" English ;-(
I will try another time ;-)
