That sounds correct. Keep in mind, I'm working from common sense and
knowledge that has seeped in over time. I don't have RSJ installed here.

>If lockcdr.flt is enabled, there is no problem.

Other that you can't us the drive as a CD. :-)

>If lockcdr.flt is remmed out, I get the error message described above.

My understanding of this message is that it's says RSJ either can not find
the CD drive or the drive letter you requested is not available.

Let me explain how I understand RSJ is supposed to work when lockcdr.flt
is not installed...

When you boot the drive will get a drive letter just like any CD drive
would. If this is your second drive and you have RESERVERDRIVELETTER=R,
then the CDR would be drive T:. Is this happening?

When you want to write a CD, you need to attach it using the Attach
Object. This is typically going to request the drive be attached as drive
Z:. This is the drive letter you would use to write to the drive. When
you are done writing, you detach the drive to finalize the session. Is
the requested drive letter available on your system?

It may be time for you to post the RSJ and SCSI related parts of your
config.sys along with the parameters for your Attach Object.

Steven
