Now that I have solved the download problem using wget, I would like to
know if there is a similar program for uploading or, more specifically,
changing the directory structure on the ftp site.

Specifially, I would like to go to the ftp site and add a subdirectory to
an existing directory. I think it is the mkdir command in unix. All I have
at the present is IBM's ftppm.exe, which is great for transferring just a
few files.
