Try this syntax:
wget ftp://sandyshapiro.org/binaries/*
Some of the options you might want to use (they aren't necessarily
necessary) are -c and -t (these are CaSe SeNsItIvE, don't use -C and
-T). The -t parameter requires a number, i.e. -t5 for example. -c will
restart a download if the connection is broken without losing what you
already have received, and -t* will retry a broken connection the
specified number of times (i.e. -t5 will try 5 times). The syntax with
these parameters is:
wget -c -t5 ftp://sandyshapiro.org/binaries/*
Either of the above should work fine.
