It definitely sounds like a driver conflict and perhaps it's not the
COM/SIO dirver thats causing the problem. Try moving the card around and
fiddling with the PCI configuration in the BIOS and see if you can get the
card on a unshared IRQ. If you can test with one or more of the SCSI card
pulled, that might give you some more info. Also, get a copy of the real
SIO2K eval. It's got a lot of fixes missing from SIOeCS.
