They don't show up because the driver was written long before the Hardware
Manager object existed. Think OS/2 v2.x.

ConfigTool is about as close as you are going to get to a guide, albeit,
not concise. It's a complex issue and there's just too much variation
amoung systems. As new issues are reported, the ConfigTool database is
updated.
