Please consider the following a constructive comment.

Some participants here seem to be allergic to quoting _anything_
from a message
that is being replied to. That can leave the rest of us deeply
puzzled as to what is
being discussed, and the context.

At the other end of the spectrum, reprising the entire message --
unless it is brief --
can lead to a lot of redundancy and unnecessary scrolling. No
big deal here, just
a convenience for the reader. There is a happy medium: a few
well chosen lines
to be quoted will usually do the trick.
