Hi Sheridan
Thanks for your suggestions.

Yesterday I had tried very intensively to get the unit running.
I also tried in these ID's you suggested ;-(

Finally I got a partial success:
The unit has an IP address !
The unit has a device name (given but replacable from factory) !
The unit has 3 port ID's but which ones !?

With the combination of "device name AND port ID I got
successfully ;-)

So I used the IP address, "device name_port ID" and it worked on
the
Canon BJc-6100 ...
... the Canon BJ-230 gave out some letter hacks ;-(

The same result under a test with the secundary W98SE partition
on
my notebook ;-((

In the meantime I got linked to NETgear and hope to hear from
support !?
So I am waiting for more detailled infos.

Cheers, svobi

I don't have direct knowledge of the NETgear print server. If no
one else gives you better information
you might try:
1) lpt1, lpt2, lpt3
2) L1, L2, L3 (this what the printer ports are on my Linksys
EPSX3 print server)
3) p1, p2, p3

Sheridan
