Some news posters said 'you can't get there from here, we've tried, the manufacturer
confirms it, end of story.' Others claimed to be running several of these things -- even
interactive gaming -- right through this firewall, once it was set up appropriately.
Those respondents did not indicate much concern over security being compromised by this,
but I don't know if they really know.

That tells me where it is, but not its function. I'll consult a couple of those Port
List things I downloaded, in search of some edification.
