I've been using 4OS2 version 3.5 (and 4DOS version 5.5) since the days of 
Warp 3. It has many shortcuts, like "d" for "dir" and others by use of the 
"alias" parameter. Also, you can change to another directory in another 
partition with one command by starting with "\" (assuming config.sys has 
been modified appropriately). 
Occasionaly, there is an install program that won't work -- Lotus 
SmartSuite, for example. In those cases, you have to use the "cmd" 
command, which exits 4OS2 and puts you into a regular shell.
