The new version of SmartMon that Andrew sent me to test *does* work fine  
with the new DaniS506 v151.  Note that HDMON.EXE still does *not* work  
with v151, indicating that some change from v145 to v151 "broke" the  
drive error reporting.

With the new DaniS506 v151 the OS/2-supplied utility HDMON.EXE breaks as  
well as SmartMon.  Thus, I'm pretty sure the problem stems from DaniS506  
and not from SmartMon.
