The programmer put all of his display text in an external file
(hdmon.txt) so the program doesn't have to be recompiled for every
language that a user might speak. The program says TellUser(DrvSz), the
TellUser routine looks in hdmon.txt and finds that the DrvSz line says
"Drive size", and then dutifully displays "Drive size" on the screen.
If you wanted to translate the program into Sandieganspeak then you
would merely edit hdmon.txt so the DrvSz line says "Rewinding hard drive
to count bytes, please wait" and that message would then display instead
of "Drive size".
