I got it. I should have responded quicker, but I've been off doing other
things and considering your options.

>C:\ config.sys 5,336.a.. 7-14-02 18:51:22
>C:\IBMINST\TABLES config.sys 1,452.a.. 8-28-96 9:25:10

>C;\OS2\install\IBMINST.BAK config.sys 2,305.a.. 7-4-02 8:42:40

I have no idea how or why the config.sys you need disappeared. On thing
that might save you is that applications often save a copy of config.sys
before they edit it. With ZTBold:

- Log the entire C: drive
- Set the filespec to config.*
- From the root of the C: drive type B from branch
- Sort the display Date Descending, Path Off

This might show some useful versions of older, renamed config.sys files.
Is this the case? If you are not sure, e-mail me copies of some to
review. Be sure to zip them before sending them, to preserve the
timestamps.

The eyes are fine. No problem with glare or bright lights or anything
like that. My left eye is a bit off, but that might settle down on its
own or it may need an enhancement. I'm right eye dominant, so the left
eye never does all that much work. Biggest problem is not having reading
glasses that match my current RX. This makes me a bit less efficient.
New lenses have to wait until I really stabilize or we will be chasing a
moving target. Anyhow, this is all pretty much what I expected given the
amount of correction that was done.

Regards,

Steven
