Trying to replace my file storage machine with something a little newer;
VA-503+. I have had the MB for a while but never got around to putting
it in a box. Had to do a BIOS update for it to accept 80G HDD. It is
not real stable.
Copy an entire partition from another machine. Total file size 2.7G.
The transfer is HPFS to HPFS using Larson Commander.
It copies some and then; Exception in NETBEUI, TRAP 000d. On reboot
checkdisk says run /F on target drive, which without that is
unaccessable. After three iterations about two thirds of the files have
copied.
Any ideas?
Ray
