I want EPM to print using different fonts.

-- 1. The EPM print options allow you to select from a variety of fonts
but the ones I want don't actually print -- instead the pages print with
12pt Courier.

-- 2. When I use the Font Palette and drag a font to the page and then
print I still get 12pt Courier *but* some of the fonts that I don't want
to use (such as Helvetica) do work. Helvetica isn't a font in the
LaserJet II hardware so the driver must be sending it to the printer.

-- 3. My LaserJet II "print fonts page" (push the Print Fonts button on
the front panel) shows only 12 pt. Courier and 8.5pt Line Printer as
hardware fonts.

I know how the LaserJet II hardware works. I know about LaserJet II
internal fonts, soft fonts and soft permanent fonts. I know about
LaserJet II font cartridges. I presume the printer driver merges the
desired font into the print stream going to the printer based on
instructions from the program that is printing.

How do I get EPM to print using different fonts?

The print chain apparently has four parts. There is the program that is
doing the printing, the Printer object with its properties, the Printer
Driver object with its properties, and the printer itself. The driver
properties (but not the LaserJet II Properties) has a fonts tab with the
ability to install fonts but I can't figure out how to tell the driver
to use the system fonts *and* I don't know where the system fonts are on
my hard drive therefore I can't install them.

Also, if there is an OS/2 test utility that will send all the available
fonts to the printer so you can see what they look like on the printed
page I'd like to know about it because that way I can identify which
fonts work and which ones don't.
