Your welcome. Oh, I forgot to mention that DOS batch file commands can be different,
depending on the version of Windows that you use. I'm not sure I remember everything,
but there were some specific issues that I ran into. I think they were:
1. How to delete everything in a directory (you use "*?.*" on XP
machines, not "*.*")
2. How to close out the batch file at the end of the session (for example, if
you use a batch file to open Windows Internet Explorer (IE), you want the batch file to
automatically close after you close IE)
Attached please find an ASCII that I previously found on the Internet that had the
answers for me (for Windows XP). I suggest you do an Internet search for these
answers for your your own version of Windows. Use search words such as "DOS batch
files", "DOS commands", "batch commandings", etc. I use either Profusion.com or
Vivisimo.com as my search facilities. You can do a search, simultaneously using all of
the various search engines (like Yahoo, Netscape, Alta Vista, etc). Also, the boolean
symbols that you use (e.g., AND/OR searches) are the same, regardless of the search
engine that you use. If your interested they are at:
http://www.beta.profusion.com/
http://vivisimo.com/
For either one first chose "Advance Search", then enter your search words
