If you install the DLL where ZTBold can find it, it will be used in place
of unzip.exe. The benefits are better performance and, at least for me,
less failures.

>They you have made InfoZip your default UnZipper ?

Yes. I have a pkzip license, but prefer InfoZip.

>What version -- there

UnZip 5.50 of 17 February 2002, by Info-ZIP. Maintained by C. Spieler.
Send bug reports to the authors at Zip-Bugs@lists.wku.edu; see README for
details.

Latest sources and executables are at ftp://ftp.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/
; see ftp://ftp.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/UnZip.html for other sites.

Compiled with IBM Visual Age C++ 3.00 for OS/2 (32-bit) on Feb 25 2002.

UnZip special compilation options:
COPYRIGHT_CLEAN (PKZIP 0.9x unreducing method not supported)
OS2_EAS
TIMESTAMP
USE_EF_UT_TIME
USE_UNSHRINK (PKZIP/Zip 1.x unshrinking method supported)
USE_DEFLATE64 (PKZIP 4.x Deflate64(tm) supported)
VMS_TEXT_CONV
[decryption, version 2.9 of 05 May 2000]

UnZip and ZipInfo environment options:
UNZIP: [none]
UNZIPOPT: [none]
ZIPINFO: [none]
ZIPINFOOPT: [none]

>O.K., I was dimly aware of that. Guess I'll have to start participating.

You definitely should feel free to contact him directly. I'm not sure
ZTBold is on topic for the ZTreeWin list. My point is if I'm the only one
who ever contacts Kim, he has no way of making a valid assessment of the
remaining ZTBold user base.

The correct word is chosen, rather than managed. He seems to be a good
guy. What's he's done so far I consider a gift to the OS/2 community.

Steven
