You should see similar info in the popuplog entry.
You have mismatched DLLs. This indicates either a LIBPATH problem or you
are running another version of Mozilla in the background and don't realize
it.
Try adding:
SET MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1
SET LIBPATHSTRICT=T
to your script and see if that allows 1.6b to start.
