If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.

On TP 600X using PCCard modem XJ5560, I cannot get it to work as it
used to on my 600E:
If select Class 1, modem connects to called fax machine but
transmits no text. Fax machine gives error report and PMFax
reports "Modem Command Error"
If select Class 2, PMFax sends screen error message "Modem does
not respond correctly".
If select Class 2.0, modem connects and transmits part of a page,
then PMFax disconnects and returns "Modem command error". Fax
machine prints error report.
Ideas what to do next?
