This is on a eCS 1.1 system without any fixpacks applied (although I did install the
latest IDEDASD and UDF updates).
When I edit a file with E.EXE, when I F3 to exit, I get a strange error dialog box:
The titlebar says E.EXE - Error.
In the box, there's a single exclamation (!) point where there should have been further
explanation of the error.
When I click on "Cancel", then E.EXE exits.
Huh?
I don't get this error on my ThinkPad T20 which also has eCS 1.1 install without
FixPacks (although I do have the UDF update and maybe the latest IDEDASD
installed).
