Hello,
I really need some help in setting up my File and Print Client sharing!
I'm asking again for help, because I did not get a response from my
first request.
Although I can see and use resources on my wife's XP machine, I'm unable
to set up any shared resources on my machine. My problem appears to be
that I don't have, or cannot find, the File and Print Client apps that
I need to set up sharing.
1. The online help for File and Print Client says that I can setup a
share by right mouse clicking on a resource, like a folder, and bringing
up the popup menu and selecting "Start Share". That does not work for
me. There is no such selection. I'm using XWorkplace version 1.0. I
don't know if that makes a difference
2. The online help says that I can define a share from the "Shared
Resources and Network Connections" notebook. I have no such object in my
"Network" folder. If someone could give me the path to this object on my
drive, I would really appreciate it.
If any one can tell me how to select "Start Share" from a pop up menu,
or how to access the "Shared Resources and Network Connections" object,
that would be of great help.
Thanks for any help on this matter.
