Hi Louis
I remember that you wrote having an AHA-2930 !?
Is this correct ??
The AIC7870 is for the AHA-2940 only !!
Checking Adaptec's sites I learnt, that there is NO driver fro OS/2 !?
You find more detailled info about drivers on Adaptec's Support pages !
Good luck, svobi

Subject: SCOUG-Help: Further on SCSI Problem
Thanks to all for the suggestions.
The first boot into OS/2 with full hardware detection, showed a couple
of Adaptec snoopers along with the =
usual message: Cannot locate any valid Adaptec SCSI devices; AIC7870)
not loaded.
Went to the snooper.lst and semi-coloned out all reference to SCSI
adapters except for AIC7870. On re-boots =
still the same error message: No valid Adaptec SCSI device. AIC7870 not
loaded.
Any further suggestions would be appreciated.
TIA
Louis W. Pinckert, S.M.
