Subject: SCOUG-Help: system freezes with MR2ICE

=====================================================
If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.
=====================================================

After a several happy weeks with MR2I v 2.35a, it has been freezing the
system requiring a hard reset. The freeze always occurs while scrolling
through the text of an open email message or composing a msg--the mouse
cursor still moves, but the keyboard and mouse buttons are dead;
ctrl-alt-del has no effect. On rebooting chkdsk finds nothing to fix.
I've run unimaint, checkini and cleanini repeatedly until nothing is found
to repair, and installed all the latest updates--kernal, TCP/IP, JFS--all
the fixes applied by the fixtool. The system is dual CPU but I've used
execmode to set the MR2 to single processor operation. How can I track
down the cause of this problem?

Thanks,
Ben A
