It was the Sep, 2001 article. Time flies. I thought it was more recent.

I don't think so. Only the installer will create the objects. We might
be able to come up with some REXX code fore this by looking at what
PeerWPSFixup does. I sorta know, but I don't know the details. A
reinstall of Peer should take less time than building the REXX code.

No, but you do have to edit config.sys and shorten all the lines. Save a
copy of the original and restore it after the reinstall.

The defaults are IBMPEERS, USERID and PASSWORD. Changing any of these
after the install is no problem. The kinds of edits are normal
operations. Once you get the WPS GUI installed, you can make the changes
from there. There are also command line and PM tools available.
