Thanks to all for the suggestions.
The first boot into OS/2 with full hardware detection, showed a couple of Adaptec snoopers along with the
usual message: Cannot locate any valid Adaptec SCSI devices; AIC7870) not loaded.
Went to the snooper.lst and semi-coloned out all reference to SCSI adapters except for AIC7870. On re-boots
still the same error message: No valid Adaptec SCSI device. AIC7870 not loaded.
Any further suggestions would be appreciated.
