I recall being asked by Steve Carter a month back
about tools for writing HTML.
He was asking how I wrote it, and I said by hand.
This probably address the problem of creating
tables he was concerned with, but I usually
use the tools documented in this article:
http://www.scoug.com/os24u/2002/scoug208.htmltools.html
to chop it down to a few minor editing touchups.

Rocky was wanting a method to move files onto
his old laptop.
I'd suggested using MS-DOS Kermit,
you can download it and copy it onto a floppy
from:
http://www.columbia.edu/kermit
or
http://www.kermit-project.org
for free, but they do request you buy the book
to support the work they do.
Version's for OS/2 are available,
the best being for a modest cost.
If you search on at http://groups.google.com
for posts by Frank da Cruz, sometime back ~2000 A.D.,
he makes reference to a PPP driver for DOS serial ports
you might be able to use with this.
