If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.

Steven,

Thanks for your reply and help. Yes, using the commandline and NET
SHARE, I'm now able to create shares on my machine. The overall
objective is to clean up my machine and hopefully get the GUI program
for creating shares. I sure don't want to go through a re-install,
however. So,...., I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that.

Yes, I did. That's why I can now see the stuff on my wife's machine. We
have an E-Machine and they ship them now without the Windows
installation CD-ROM. You need the CD-ROM for XP to install NetBEUI. I
contacted E-Machine for their help in getting the two (2) NetBEUI
installation files. They were no help (said I had to buy the complete
version of XP). However, Randell came to my rescue.

The next step is to start up the Windows machine and see if I can see
the shares created on my machine.

Thanks for your help, Steven.
