Jordan,

I attended WarpStock Austin & purchased the eCS 1.1 upgrade so I got a
copy of eCS 1.1 RC1 R1 (1/7/03) by snail mail from Kim.

On my main system duplicated a major bug which David Graser has solved.
On my ThinkPad, found a major bug where the installation simply stalls.
See ecomstation.beta on the news.ecomstation.nl newsserver. I have learned
that to use an external USB floppy drive with eCS 1.1, one must do an
advance install & make the necesarry modifications. Yes, I know that I
should be working on the SCOUG CD........ :)

If you would like, & if I can get an OK from Kim, I would be happy to burn
you or others who have the eCS 1.1 upgrade a copy of eCS 1.1 RC R1. If we
do not find the install bugs now, I think we will all be very frustrated.

As an aside eCS 1.1 installs overall much more cleaner than eCS 1.0, Warp
4, or Warp 3. From what I can tell, no one will guarantee that eCS 1.1
can install over eCS 1.0; I personally plan to do clean installs of eCS
1.1.

Regards.

Larry
