I'm looking for a utility that can split a data file into equal-length
text lines.
I have 4.3 MB of data in a file. The data is organized into 83-byte
records which do NOT end with a CR or LF. (The data is all text ASCII
and does not contain any binary data or control characters).
I want to add CRLF at the end of each 83-byte record so that the file is
a "text" file and can be read with a text editor.
I can write a little Rexx program to do this, but does anyone know of an
existing utility that can convert my data file so that it is text
records?
