Thanks for the informatio. Maybe Mr. KIA should write something about
chkdsk.log.

I tried to use shutdown but it hung. Then I tried to reboot without
success. So I shut off the power and booted with bated breatj.

Guess what? Chhkdsk ran on every partition, deleted chkdsk.log and said I
had to run something on one partition that was not shut down properly;
otherwise every partition was okay.

How could there be only the two problems when I shut the computer off?
Was I just lucky?
