I have installed a Plextor Model PX=W2410TA (internal) CD-RW. (Note the
T)
The RSJ portion of my OS/2 config. sys and the two preceding lines are:
DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\ASPIROUT.SYS
BASEDEV=OS2ASPI.DMD /ALL
REM *** RSJ CD-Writer File System ***
BASEDEV=RSJIDECD.FLT
BASEDEV=LOCKCDR.FLT -n -i:"PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W2410A"
DEVICE=G:\CDWFS\RSJSCSI.SYS
IFS=G:\CDWFS\CDWFS.IFS
RUN=G:\CDWFS\CDWFSD.EXE -p "c:/tcpip/tmp" -c20000 -b2048 -t2 -i3 -s0 REM
***RSJ CD-Writer File System***
When I booted, DANIS506.ADD /V provided this information (I say this
because the message never appeared before I added the /V:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Controller 1 Status OK (along with much other information).
Unit 0 Status OK ATAPI P104
Model Plextor CD-R PX-W2410A 1.03
Searching for CD Recorders
[Plextor CD-R PX-W2410A] --> ignored
Error: Can't connect o ASPI device manager. Please verify that OSASPI.DMD
and a driver for your SCSI adapter have been installed.
SYS1201: The device driver G:\CDWFS\RSJSCSI.SYS specified in the device
statement in line 126 was not insttalled. Line 126 is ignored.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After showing this message, the boot continued normally.
There are two cddrv files in the RSJ working directory:
cddrv.inf 15,727 9/24/02
cddrv.inf 15,425 3/22/02
The SYS1201 is clear to me. Please tell me what the info preceding it
means. Is Danis506 searching?
What I should do? Get a later cddrv.inf file? Where? Not as RSJ
support, their download screen refers me to the VSILogic website.
