I can't give you a recommendation but in the past I've used repair  
depots that advertise in some of the trades (Processor is a good source,  
I have a recent one here if you want me to list the advertisers).   
There's a monitor repair depot in Burbank that I've used but that might  
be a bit far for you.  
 
Also, iirc Steve Carter who is on this list recently had a monitor  
repaired and was happy with the work.  He might be out of town on  
vacation right now.  
 
As I recall, the repair depots charge a flat fee for the repair,  
excluding the expensive flyback transformer and possibly the crt.
