George,

I've been using ECS's K7S5A (not Pro) MB for about 6 mos. now and have
had good luck with it. My board has the SIS900 NIC not the RealTek
version. The driver for OS/2 is actually in the Windows driver
release. While the driver for my non-pro board works under eCS 1.0 it
is broken under 1.1 because of USB IRQ sharing.

Roderick Klein of Mensys told me a driver that is supposed to fix
several NIC driver problems is in testing and should be released real
soon now. Still looking for it on Hobbes - uninic.zip.

When I got my K7S5A and AMD 2000+ (Fry's) the DDR2700 was on sale
cheaper than the DDR2100 so I got that.

I realize ymmv, but I'm happy with my K7S5A and will be happier when I
can load eCS 1.1.
