This is wrong. It will never update J:\MUGLIB.

These are what you need. Turns out my WarpUP CD is from Jan, 2001.
Thought I had purchased a copy of the last one published, but I guess I
forgot to since I really never needed it.

>Interestingly the file IP08414.inf internally carries the title "IBM Peer

Yes, I noticed that. Just typos. The SYSLEVEL files are correct and
that's what matters.

>Where to now o' valued seer?

Let's do it manually. I don't have OS2SERV handy and it may be part of
the problem since it appears to support only an single drive letter for
installing FPs.

Make a temporary work directory:

mkdir j:\tmp\ip08414

Log to the directory:

j:
cd \tmp\ip08414

Unpack the FP files to the temp directory:

for %X in (S:\IBM\W4PEER\FIX\MUG.3\*) do unpack %X .
for %X in (S:\IBM\W4PEER\FIX\UPE.1\*) do unpack %X .

That's a period at the end of each command line. Check my typing to make
sure I've got the paths correct for your setup.

Now use your favorite file mananger and replace the files in MUGLIB and
its subdirectories with the newer versions from your work directory. The
SYSLEVEL files should be read-only so you will need to override this.

After the copy is complete, you should not need to reboot. Just try the:

logon /v:local

It should work. If not reboot, just to be sure, and try it again.

Let me know how it goes.

Steven
