Sorry, don't know on that one! Have you considered whether or not your IDE issues
were caused by using out-of-date drivers and FDISK, FORMAT programs. One thing I
did religiously was to update my system regularly to the latest in drivers, programs,
kernels and/or fixpaks. Perhaps that's why I did not have a lot of trouble with the larger
IDE drives (only trying to understand the nomenclature and which settings to use).
