I get a "Local Logon" screen asking for User ID and Password. There are the usual OK,Cancel,Help buttons. I don't remember my ID and PW for this. I've got too many on too many machines in too many places. Where do I find what is entered in this app?
>and click on the local workstation button?
There is no "local workstation" button
>What happens if you run:
> logon /v:local
Returns "The REQUESTER service is starting ...." and it keeps on going until I close the OS/2 window. In the meantime it is overlayed with another window reporting "System Error - Detached Process ID 69" In the error box it reports SYS 2070
>What happens is you run:
> net start
returns: "No network services are started.
Do you want to start the requester service (Y/N) [Y]:"
I respond Y and:
I get the "System Error ..." window as in "logon /v:local" but this time it is process ID 74. Again it reports SYS2070
