Are you sure the Printer object still hase the 855C selected?  Use  
Connections -> Printer -> HP550C -> Properties -> Printer Driver to check 
this. 
Make sure the bottom window has the 855C selected.  While you are there 
check the Queue options settings.

I suspect that's just bad luck.  PMView updates the WPS associations if 
you ask it too, but does nothing to the drivers.

Can you print from other applications?  This might be a PMView specific 
issues.  Something about the Printer object properties that it can not
